"From a very young age I have always loved being creative.
I remember my Nonna telling me that even as a toddler I was always drawing, creating, painting, and making designs and always being a character.
From the moment I woke up until I went to sleep my mind was always running wild with ideas and projects to create exciting forms of art, whether it be painting, drawing, designing or writing stories, it is all I would do. It was my outlet & something I truly enjoyed and lived for.
I loved art & movies and the way it made me feel. I have always been inspired by iconic people in history like Marilyn Monroe & like Marilyn loved being a character.
I excelled in art & drama at school & I also excelled in English when it came to story writing.
I have always had a big passion for anything creative. I love envisioning different ideas and concepts and making them real.
Growing up I was nothing short of a tomboy, (I was not one bit girly, I always wearing soccer shorts & t-shirts and playing with Batman and Star wars instead of Barbies, always involved in all sports & reading & making my own comic book characters) but in my mid teens I started by wearing makeup and experimenting with it. I enjoyed creating different looks on myself.
As the years went on I experimented more and more and found that I really loved being my own canvas. I could be anything I wanted to be and I had control to create it.
True to my favourite movie Predator "Like the Chameleon" I love changing into new characters & creating something new. I have always been a very pro-active person, researching and teaching myself things I was interested in.
If I wanted to learn something, I would always teach myself.
My friends were always asking me to style their hair and apply their makeup for them & I was always willing to do it.
At 18 I did a short makeup course through a makeup company I was working for at the time, and even though I did not like the style they were teaching me, I enjoyed learning the technical side of it.
Only working with them for a short period of time, I started modelling full time & started to to get bookings & doing my own makeup for photo shoots. I loved thinking up new concepts & really immersing myself into that character to make it more than just a great image, I wanted to create art.
I enjoyed working on little projects for myself and expanding my portfolio in both modelling & makeup. I always worked hard & wanted to better myself.
I was always growing and learning and evolving into the person I am and my style now.
I am always looking for the next project & adventure through modelling, makeup, styling, drawing, painting, designing or acting and just live to be creative & be involved in all creative arts.
I find it very hard to switch off as my mind is always racing with ideas & concepts and I am always busy with a million different projects. But I could not live any other way.
I live to be inspired and to inspire others. I love collaborating and working with truly amazing & talented photographers & other makeup artist & hair stylist. I have so much passion for what I do, I live for this.
I love being different and surrounding myself with different people and loving the exciting adventure of life!
Envisioning a concept, creating it through Makeup, design, set design, lighting, body art or myself as a character and working with some amazing people who help create the vision is what I live for. When I see the finished product It makes me proud and is something that will last forever. Its so much more than an image. To me it is my art.
I want to thank everyone who is involved, everyone who encourages me to be me and helping creating the magic."
